 AIMS and OBJECTIVES for 2008/09

This year we will

1. Look out to the wider community 

By continuing to offer our buildings and resources in support of community projects.

By raising money for them, and

By holding a Christmas Tree Festival.

2. Look out to the wider world

By continuing our commitment to BibleLands and Christian Aid, especially in their work in the Holy Land.

3. Look to God to increase our spiritual resources

By providing a range of experiences during the year designed to refresh and renew our own spirituality as

individuals and as a church, among them:-

    An afternoon event and evening service on Pentecost Sunday to focus on prayer

    A Quiet Day

    Two Healing Services during the year

    A "Guided Eucharist" on 4th May

    Advent services

    A focus during the year on the Ministry of Reconciliation

    A Youth Day

    A series of guest speakers (at the 9.30 service) on aspects of spirituality

 We shall also seek to develop a Pastoral Team to share Eucharistic ministry,

contact and bereavement visiting
